Introducing NexSIS by the Film and Media Studies Department.
NexSIS (Next Generation South Island School T.V.) is a video production service offered by the Film and Media Studies department at South Island School. This initiative was designed to work in tandem with our Film and Media Studies and a wider school Digital Literacy focus to encourage the practice of 21st Century skills in a real world setting.
With the professional support of our teachers, NexSIS provides a stimulating platform for students whilst simultaneously serving the local community. The NexSIS team is made of ambitious and reliable senior students who are eager to exercise their expertise in video production and management.
Regardless of your budget and scope, NexSIS approaches all projects the same way - creatively and professionally.
NexSIS engages with client based projects, which support anything from local NGOs to commercial ventures. These commissioned films contribute towards the purchase of new equipment, directly enriching the development of the professional and creative environment for students at South Island School.

Who produces these videos?
South Island School students! The clients are welcome to get involved with the student filmmakers as much as they like, and our staff here at NexSIS give the students guidance and support.
What are your rates?
For businesses, a simple 2 minutes montage starts at $6500 HKD, depending on the nature of the films (duration of the film etc...) and duration of service needed, the cost will be adjusted accordingly. We also offer long-term service plans where a dedicated team of students would carry out the production process from pre to post production. Please contact us at nexsishk@gmail.com to find out more.

What do you do with the revenue? Do the staff and students pocket the money?

South Island School is at 50 Nam Fung Road near Ocean Park in Hong Kong.
10 Simple Steps
1. Contact our production manager, Eva, about your project.
2. Get a quote.
3. Sign a mutually beneficial production contract.
4. Pay a 10% deposit.
5. Eva will guide you through pre-production.
6. Meet and brief the production team (awesome students) at South Island School.
7. The production team will carry out the production with your involvement.
8. The production team will move onto post-production.
9. Please pay the next 60% installment.
10. You will recieve the HD link / file from NexSIS. Satisfied? Please pay the remaining 30% balance.
The Production Process
